ITINERARY
WARSAW
Saturday, April 26, 2025 (Dinner)
- Welcome gathering and dinner in Old Town.
Sunday, April 27, 2025 (Breakfast, Lunch)
- Mass at Holy Cross at Krakowskie Przedmieście.
- Bus to Nowe Miasto to walk in the footsteps of Blessed Mary Angela visiting churches, the original orphan’s house and the Zaluski Library.
- Spend the rest of the day exploring Old Town which was beautifully rebuilt after World War II and features the Royal Castle Square, quaint shops, artists and cafés.
Monday, April 28, 2025 (Breakfast, Lunch)
- Mass at Capuchin church where she met Father Honorat Koźmiński, co-founder of Felician Sisters.
- Afternoon visit to the Felician Sisters Convent in Wawer.
- Visit POLIN, visit the Museum of the History of Polish Jews, located on the site of the former Warsaw Ghetto.
- Evening at leisure and time for own activities.
WARSAW-CZESTOCHOWA-KRAKOW
Tuesday, April 29, 2025 (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Morning drive to Czestochowa to visit the Basilica with Black Madonna Shrine, attend mass, and have lunch on their own.
- Travel to Krakow. Dinner in the Old Town’s Market Square.
KRAKOW
Wednesday, April 30, 2025 (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Walk to Wawel Cathedral, return to Old Town’s Market Square visit St. Mary’s Church with the famous wooden altar by Wit Stwosz. Lunch on your own – dinner at a restaurant with the group.
Thursday, May 1, 2025 (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Visit Felician Sisters Convent and tour the places where Blessed Mary Angela lived, worked and is buried. Lunch at the Square of the Old Town on your own.
- Visit Felician Sisters Convent and tour the Blessed Mary Angela Archives.
KRAKOW-WIELICZKA-KRAKOW
Friday, May 2, 2025 (Breakfast, Lunch)
- Tour of Wieliczka Salt Mine and mass at the underground at St. Kinga’s Chapel.
- Afternoon on your own in Krakow.
KRAKOW-KALWARIA ZERZYDOWSKA-WADOWICE-AUSCHWITZ-KRAKOW
Saturday, May 3, 2025 (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)
- Visit Kalwaria Zebrzydowska lying among the colourful hills of the Wadowice Upland. It is the second most popular sanctuary in Poland and one of the most beloved by John Paul II.
- Drive to Wadowice, a small village where our Karol Wojtyła – Pope John Paul II was born. Visit the Basilica of Wadowice, where he was baptized and the House-Museum with an exhibition that illustrates and commemorates John Paul II’s life and His work in Poland until he left Krakow for the conclave in Rome, in 1978.
- Lunch in Wadowice Square.
- Leave for a guided tour of the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum. The death camp at Oświęcim, known as Konzentratrionslager Auschwitz, where we visit the cell of the martyred St. Maximilian Kolbe.
- Drive back to Krakow.
- Dinner together and evening reflections.
KRAKOW-LAGIEWNIKI-KRAKOW
Sunday, May 4, 2025 (Breakfast, Dinner)
- Mass at the Sanctuary of Divine Mercy in Lagiewniki where Jesus appeared to St. Faustyna. Learn about the miraculous event, visit the Center of John Paul II and basilica with the relics of John Paul II.
- Lunch and afternoon on your own.
- Farewell Dinner and reflections
