On November 21\, they arrived in Polonia\, Wisconsin where the pastor of St. Joseph Parish\, Fr. Joseph Dabrowski had requested their help educating the children of polish immigrants. \n\n\n\nTheir hard work\, joyfulness and charism had a profound effect on people\, and as women joined them\, Felician Sisters’ ministries continued to grow across the U.S. and Canada\, then in Haiti. \n\n\n\nMass and reception for the sesquicentennial celebration will be held at Mother of Good Counsel Convent in Chicago\, IL. \n\n\n\nThank you to all who attended! \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nQuestions?Julie KresgeInterim Chief Mission Advancement Officerjkresge@feliciansisters.org

Since then\, our mission has worked to empower the resilient Haitian people with initiatives to provide clean water\, access to health care\, education\, and the job skills needed to strengthen their country.  \n\n\n\nAs violence escalated and targeted human aid organizations in the fall of 2022\, the U.S. Embassy urged the missionary sisters to leave the country.
