Honoring James D’Agostino, Sr.

Join Felician University for an unforgettable evening at the Spark of the Divine Gala on Thursday, April 30, 2026, from 6:00pm to 10:00pm at the Westmount Country Club in Woodland Park, New Jersey. The “Spark of the Divine” Award celebrates the life and spirit of Sr. Theresa Mary Martin, Felician University president for 26 years, who nurtured the “spark of the divine” in every Felician student. This year, they are honored to present the award to James D’Agostino, Sr. for his faithful support of Felician University and the community.

Felician University, founded in 1942 by the Felician Sisters, is one of the few Franciscan universities in the country and the only one in New Jersey. Its reputation was built on an emphasis on service and respect for humanity, in line with the vision of Blessed Mary Angela Truszkowska. To this day, the university continues to embody these values in all that it does.
