A memorial gift is a thoughtful way to remember a friend or a loved one.
In Honor
A gift in honor of a family member, friend, or colleague can be a meaningful way to show your appreciation. Recognize an individual’s accomplishments or a birthday, anniversary or other occasion.
How it Works
Donate online or by mail. If you want us to inform someone of your gift, let us know the name and address of who we should notify. (We do not include gift amounts when informing others of your gift.)
Funeral Donation Requests
Many people choose to honor their loved one’s tie to the Felician Sisters with a request for memorial gifts in their obituary. You may ask for gifts to be sent to the Felician Sisters of North America at a particular convent, our Provincial office or online.
When requesting donations, please let us know the name of the deceased and the name and address of the friend or relative who we should notify of gifts received. Matching Gifts
Your company may match employee charitable donations, thus increasing the value of your gift. Please check with your employer’s human resources department to see if your organization has a matching gift program.

IRAs
Do you have an individual retirement account (IRA) from which you take distributions? Qualified distributions made directly from an IRA to the Felician Sisters of North America may fulfill a required distribution requirement and offer a tax benefit.
- At age 70½ and older, you can give directly from your IRA to the Felician Sisters without having to pay income taxes on the money.
- At age 73 and older, you can use your qualified charitable distribution (QCD) to satisfy all or part of your required minimum distribution (RMD).
Donor-Advised Funds
If you have a Donor-Advised Fund, you can recommend a gift in support of our mission, with the option of designating a specific program.
