October 9 @ 7:00 pm 8:00 pm EDT

Starts at 7pm
Free will offering

By Sister Judith Marie Blizzard and Sister Jane Mary Gawlik

In the presence of our Eucharistic Lord, we will pray the Taizé prayer. Taizé prayer is a form of prayer originating from a monastic order in Taizé , France. Worshipers are invited to partake in this meditative prayer which includes simple chants, short readings and silent reflection. Regular attendees find a profound peace and tranquility in this style of prayer.

Sr. Judith Marie Blizzard serves as co-vocation director for the Felician Sisters of North America, a spiritual director, and is involved in evangelization, retreat ministry and parish missions. She holds degrees in education, religious studies and spirituality.

Sr. Jane Mary Gawlik serves as co-vocation director for the Felician Sisters of North America. Formerly a teacher, she holds a degree in Pastoral Ministry and certificates in Youth Ministry, Spiritual Direction and Initial Formation.

Serving where needed since 1874

Founded in Poland in 1855, the Felician Sisters are a congregation of women religious inspired by the spiritual ideals of their foundress, Blessed Mary Angela Truszkowska, and Saints Francis of Assisi, Clare of Assisi and Felix of Cantalice. Arriving in North America in 1874 following Blessed Mary Angela’s directive “to serve where needed,” they helped to weave the social service system. Today, the Felician Sisters founded, sponsor or support through the presence of our sisters, more than 40 ministries – all continuing to evolve to meet the needs of the people they serve.
