The Felician Sisters of North America were grateful to participate in SEEK 2026, with booths at two conference locations in Fort Worth, Texas, and Columbus, Ohio. SEEK, hosted by FOCUS, brings together young adults from across the country to encounter Christ, grow in faith and reflect on where God may be calling them.

Conversation was at the heart of the Felician Sisters’ presence at SEEK. Through one- on-one conversations and “Ask a Sister” conversation cards, attendees were invited to ask honest questions about religious life, vocation, joy and prayer. Many young adults spent time speaking with the sisters, sharing their own stories and exploring what it means to listen for God’s call.

Volunteers in Mission (VIM) was another central part of the booth experience. Past VIM volunteers generously shared their experiences of service and community, offering firsthand insight into how faith can be lived through mission.

Prayer and reflection were also woven throughout the booth. Rosary-making offered a hands-on and prayerful activity, while the “Follow the Call” passport challenge encouraged engagement through prayer, conversation and discernment resources. Attendees were also invited to place intentions at the interactive prayer cross and reflect on how God is speaking in their lives.

The Felician Sisters are thankful for everyone who stopped by, shared a prayer or spent time in conversation. Every year, SEEK is a meaningful opportunity to accompany young adults as they continue seeking where God is leading them.

SEEK 2027 will be held in San Antonio, Texas, and Columbus, Ohio. We look forward to connecting again next year!

Serving where needed since 1874

Founded in Poland in 1855, the Felician Sisters are a congregation of women religious inspired by the spiritual ideals of their foundress, Blessed Mary Angela Truszkowska, and Saints Francis of Assisi, Clare of Assisi and Felix of Cantalice. Arriving in North America in 1874 following Blessed Mary Angela’s directive “to serve where needed,” they helped to weave the social service system. Today, the Felician Sisters founded, sponsor or support through the presence of our sisters, more than 40 ministries – all continuing to evolve to meet the needs of the people they serve.
