While the COVID-19 pandemic is keeping many people apart, residents and their families at St. Anne Home in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, are finding new ways to connect.
FaceTime and window visits are now common scenes at St. Anne Home. Window visitor Kristin commented, “This is the first time in her 97 years she hasn’t had a family member beside her daily!” She did what she could to change that and brought along her son to help. “Jake is five and he wasn’t thrilled to be going on ‘an adventure’ to find Great Gram’s window, but after we got to see her and got back in the car, he said, ‘That made my day!'”
Mary Dreliszak, director of Development and Marketing, said, “It made his grandma’s day too!”
