St. Anne’s Family Services, a Felician-sponsored ministry, has been selected to receive a $20 million grant from California’s Department of Health Care Services through the Behavioral Health Continuum Infrastructure Program (BHCIP).
This historic investment presents a tremendous opportunity for St. Anne’s to expand its reach, meeting the growing needs of young women and families in the Los Angeles community — while intentionally implementing services to also support and uplift fathers.
Led by an all-women executive leadership team, St. Anne’s remains steadfast in its commitment to provide trauma-informed, evidence-based care that prioritizes equity and lifelong wellness. This grant will help turn that commitment into lasting impact for generations to come.
The funds will support the construction of The Brighter Futures Center, which is tentatively expected to be completed by December 31, 2029.
Lorna Little, MSW, President and Chief Executive Officer of St. Anne’s, shared:
“For 118 years, St. Anne’s has stood alongside women, children, and families as they build brighter futures. This grant allows us to continue that legacy by expanding access to healing, recovery and stability for the communities who need it most.”
As Felician Sisters, we are deeply proud of the vital work St. Anne’s continues to carry forward — embodying our mission of service, compassion and care for those most in need.
