A newly-married couple placed the topping of their wedding cake at the foot of the statue of Blessed Mary Angela on the grounds of Our Lady of the Angels Convent in Enfield, CT.
The statue was a gift from the family of Sr. Mary Seraphine Liskiewicz on the occasion of her 75th jubilee year as a Felician Sister.
This photo was taken on Saturday morning, November 14, at approximately the same time that Sr. Seraphine went home to God.
May Sister Seraphine and Blessed Angela intercede for a blessed and happy marriage for the couple who entrusted their prayers to her.

I was taught by the Felician sisters and I cherish the memories I have. I had a good education and more importantly, faith in God and lifelong hope. God bless them. Thank you.
I was taught by the Felician sisters during High School. I remember Sister Pontia who took care of the library, Sister Rose Julie who made sure we understood Latin (or we better!), Sister Hillary, who taught us Religion and art appreciation, and most of all, my favorite, Sister Amadeus who shaped my love of history. Last but not least, Sister Antoinette who taught me shorthand and typing. Thanks to her she kept me gainfully employed for 42 years. Truly the best four years of my education.
